Weatherboards are normally a timber board, with a groove (rabbet) along the front of its top edge and along the back of its lower edge, that is fixed horizontally with others to form an exterior cladding on a wall or roof.
Panelling can be a sheet or length of timber available in a variety of timber species, designs and widths. In most cases it is tongue and grooved for easy assembly and quick installation. Often used as a feature wall it can be installed during construction or fitted over existing wall materials.
