SIMPSON STRONG-TIE DIAPHRAGM TENSION STRAPS
The MSTC is designed to resist tension loads in timber-to-timber applications. This diaphragm tension strap tie utilizes a staggered nail pattern to help minimize timber splitting. The high-capacity MSTC also features countersunk nail slots for a lower nailing profile.

The MDCST48 is a 14-gauge high-capacity strap specifically designed to carry tension across a CLT floor or wall panel joint. The MDCST48 installs with Simpson Strong-Tie® Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector Screws.
